Giulio Lazzotti
“I worked for Arbor on its new Evertree collection for two years, in 2012 and 2013. The design philosophy and the type of collaboration was “collective” which means that, every month, I spent about 10 days in the factory in close contact with the prototype, upholstery and painting department, following the product right to the end. I also worked on the image and presentation of the entire collection and, in this way, a team of professionals worked together, which is something I always like to see, where the designer becomes a sort of “catalyst”, as in a chemical reaction, without which nothing happens but that, on its own, he goes nowhere. I hope that all the energy, enthusiasm and honesty of all of us who contributed to its creation can be felt in the collection."
Paolo Martinig
On finishing his studies in 1986, Paolo entered the communication’ s world and remained there until 1994, working in Milan, Treviso and Udine. But the boundary between communications and design is very blurred. All the experience and creativity accrued previously have now been transferred to this new world. He works for many companies in the «Triveneto area», concentrating not just on form but also on language. He collaborates with the most popular designer labels in Italian fashion in the creation of important international projects. Selected for the ADI DESIGN INDEX 2010.
Arbor Solution
The Research and Development Department of ARBOR srl, the owner of the Evertree brand, normally develops products commissioned by its clients and their designers. Just the client’s idea is enough for Arbor Solution: from this, Arbor designs and develops the model and provides the technical solutions aimed at creating a functional item for industrial production, considering every detail. The design, prototypes and industrialisation stages are completely internal in order to protect confidentiality to the utmost. Evertree’s workshop has not only collaborated with commissioned designers for finding the right solutions in terms of design, technical functionality and comfort of the entire collection but, for certain models, it also inspired the original idea that spawned the whole families of products.
